How do I find, open, and print documents, recipes, or photos on a Windows computer?
Direct Answer
Click the yellow folder icon on your taskbar (File Explorer) and click "Downloads" to find your recent files. Double-click to open, then press "Ctrl + P" together on your keyboard to print.
Why You Might Want to Do This
- To find PDFs, statements, tax forms, or recipes you downloaded from an email or website without downloading them again.
- To print physical paper copies of boarding passes, receipts, letters, or craft patterns in seconds.
Before You Start
- Make sure your printer is plugged into power, turned on with plain paper loaded, and connected to your Wi-Fi or USB.
- Locate the taskbar along the bottom of your computer monitor.
Windows places all downloaded files into the "Downloads" folder by default with today's files at the very top.
